Jacob is the first Hoosier state member of the UMF Federation and he brings a stout resume to the table. As a 3-time winner of the Indiana BASS Junior Championship (15-18 years of age) and a competitor in the Junior World Championships, Jacob has been fishing competitively and winning consistently for several years. We hope Jacob is just the first of many up-and-coming anglers who plan on participating in the UMF Federation in 2009-2010. Good luck Jacob!

If you're a long time fan of Ultimate Match Fishing, then Steve probably looks familiar. Steve represented the University of Illinois Fighting Illini in the College Edition of UMF, making it all of the way to the final match before losing to University of Kentucky team angler Brandon Card.
Steve, now a graduate of the University of Illinois, still loves to fish competitively when he 's not working with the Moline High School Bass Fishing Team, which placed first in their sectional and gained a top ten finish statewide. Bass fishing is now a sanctioned and recognized high school sport in the state of Illinois, a trend we hope to see continue throughout the nation. Good luck in the Federation, Steve.

Jason "Cowboy" Cooper
Home Town: Shelbyville, Tennessee
Member Since: July 6, 2009
Jason, otherwise known as Cowboy to his friends and fellow anglers, is the first Volunteer State member of the Ultimate Match Fishing Federation. Cowboy makes his home near Tim's Ford Reservoir (site of the first round of the Pro UMF in 2009) and has been fishing tournaments from Kentucky Lake to Lake Guntersville for years. When he isn't fishing, Cowboy is thinking about fishing, about to go fishing, or has just come off of the water. Congrats to Jason Cowboy Cooper, the first Tennessee member of the UMF Federation.
